Fees
Effective for new clients as of April 1, 2026:
All new clients attend their first session as a 90-minute session and will be billed accordingly for 90 mins.
$145- on-going 50-minute Individual Counseling/Family Counseling/Couples Counseling/Tribunal Cases sesssions
$75- 40 minutes per parent session (parent meeting)
Sliding scale session fee slots are limited.
Insurance
Out-of-Network. Spes Et Fortitudo Counseling is considered an out-of-network provider and can provide you with a receipt (superbill) at the end of each month you can submit for reimbursement. For example, your provider may apply part or all of your counseling fees to your deductible. Sometimes the provider will reimburse part of your counseling fees. It all depends on your benefits.
Reimbursement will depend on your insurance provider and plan, so it is recommended to contact your insurance carrier for more information about this possibility.
Payments
How do I pay my bill? I require clients to keep a credit card on file, either through the secure client portal through Simple Practice or with IVY Pay (also secure and HIPPA compliant). You may choose to have your card automatically billed after each session (AutoPay) or to pay at the time of your appointment. Payment is due when services are rendered.
Accepted Payments: Credit card, debit card, or HSA or FSA cards for those with Health Savings or Flexible Spending Accounts.
